About The Electric Fireplace
Fire, Reimagined for Modern Living.
The Electric Fireplace was created with a simple idea: an electric fireplace should feel like part of the architecture, not just another appliance in the room.
We focus on modern electric fireplaces that combine realistic flame effects, refined proportions, clean design and everyday comfort made for contemporary New Zealand homes.
Our collection is intentionally focused, with carefully selected models designed to work beautifully in media walls, custom-made cabinetry, feature walls and bespoke interior spaces.
Why We Started
We Wanted Electric Fireplaces to Look Better.
Too many electric fireplaces feel overly technical, bulky or disconnected from the rest of the interior.
We wanted something different.
Fireplaces that could sit seamlessly within a modern living room.
Fireplaces that could become part of a custom media wall.
Fireplaces that looked just as considered as the cabinetry, stone, wall panels and furniture around them.
That idea became The Electric Fireplace.
Our focus is not simply on heat.
It is on creating a stronger atmosphere, a more refined interior and a fireplace that genuinely adds to the room.
Designed Around the Interior
Made to Become Part of the Room.
Our fireplaces are designed for modern spaces where every detail matters.
They can be incorporated into:
- Custom-made cabinetry
- TV media walls
- Entertainment units
- Feature walls
- Bespoke joinery
- Stone and timber installations
- Contemporary living-room designs
Whether you prefer a clean front-facing fireplace or a three-sided panoramic design, each model is selected to work naturally with modern interiors.
The result is a fireplace that feels built into the space rather than added afterwards.
A More Realistic Flame Experience
Atmosphere Comes First.
A fireplace should create more than warmth.
It should change how the room feels.
Our fireplaces feature customisable flame effects, adjustable brightness and carefully designed decorative media to create greater depth and visual interest.
Selected models also offer features such as:
- Multiple flame colours
- Adjustable ember-bed colours
- Flame-motion control
- Realistic crackling fire sound
- Decorative log sets
- Remote and touch operation
These details help create a more immersive fireplace experience while keeping the convenience of electric heating.
Modern Heating. Simple Control.
Comfort Without Complication.
Our fireplaces combine visual ambience with convenient electric heating for everyday use.
With adjustable temperature settings, dual heating modes, timers and simple controls, you can create warmth when you need it and enjoy the flame effect when you simply want atmosphere.
No traditional chimney.
No wood storage.
No ash or smoke.
Just modern fire at the touch of a button.
A Focused Collection
Fewer Models. Better Choices.
We believe a strong collection does not need to be complicated.
Rather than offering dozens of similar fireplaces, our range focuses on carefully selected sizes and viewing styles.
Choose from clean front-glass Linear models or a more immersive three-sided Panorama design.
Each fireplace has a clear purpose, making it easier to choose the right model for your room, cabinetry or feature wall.
Built for Custom Spaces
Your Fireplace. Your Design.
One of the biggest advantages of our fireplaces is the flexibility to design around them.
From a simple recessed installation to a fully customised entertainment unit, the fireplace can become the centre of a bespoke interior feature.
Combine it with:
Cabinetry. Stone. Timber. Wall panels. Shelving. Television. Lighting.
The fireplace becomes part of the architecture and allows designers, cabinetmakers and homeowners to create something truly individual.
All installations should follow the supplied dimensions, ventilation requirements and required clearances.
Designed for New Zealand Homes
Local Focus. Modern Design.
The Electric Fireplace is built around the needs of New Zealand customers looking for contemporary fireplace solutions.
We offer NZ-wide shipping, pickup options and local product support.
Whether you are building a new home, renovating a living room or creating a custom media wall, our aim is to make choosing the right electric fireplace simple.
Quality in the Details
The Difference Is in What You Notice.
From tempered glass and matte-black steel construction to realistic flame effects and carefully selected decorative media, we focus on the details that influence both how the fireplace looks and how it feels in the room.
Because the best fireplace should not demand attention through excess.
It should earn it through design.
Our Philosophy
Less Appliance. More Architecture.
We see the fireplace as part of the interior.
That means clean proportions.
Considered materials.
Realistic visual effects.
Simple controls.
And designs that work naturally with modern cabinetry and architecture.
Everything comes back to one idea:
Fire should belong in the room.
